Cher Gregoire has practiced law since 2003. She graduated from Georgia State University College of Law, where she was a member of the Editorial Board of the Georgia State University Law Review. While at Georgia State, Ms. Gregoire served as an intern to Justice Hugh P. Thompson with the Georgia Supreme Court and was the recipient of a C.A.L.I. Award of Excellence for Litigation. Ms. Gregoire obtained her undergraduate degree in International Studies and English from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia where she graduated cum laude, Phi-Beta Kappa.

Ms. Gregoire's practice involves all aspects of commercial litigation, including contract disputes, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, business torts, insurance coverage, secured transaction and real estate litigation, and construction litigation. Ms. Gregoire also has experience handling various matters in U.S. Bankruptcy courts, negotiating private settlements and participating in alternative dispute resolution, including mediations. Notable cases include:

  • Representation of companies and former employees in lawsuits involving trade secrets claims, breach of restrictive covenant claims, and other business tort claims
  • Representation of lenders in connection with secured transaction and real estate matters, including foreclosures
  • Representation of companies in contract and account disputes
  • Representation of commercial landlords and tenants in lease disputes
  • Representation of companies in construction disputes including representation of hotel developer in defending against negligent construction claims and representation of national retail developer in obtaining mandamus relief from city for ongoing construction project
  • Representation of property management company in suit brought by tenants for toxic mold and construction defect claims
