Dan Plevak joined Chorey, Taylor & Feil in 2007 as an associate. Prior to joining the firm, Dan developed experience in real estate transactions and complex discovery work for two firms in Atlanta. While attending law school, Dan was an extern for the United States Trustee Program -- the component of the Department of Justice that oversees the bankruptcy process. Dan also spent two legislative sessions working for lobbying groups representing the banking and real estate industries before the Georgia General Assembly. Prior to attending law school, Dan worked at a prominent community bank in Athens, GA.
Dan's practice focuses on debtor/creditor matters, landlord/tenant law, and regulatory matters pertaining to beverage alcohol. During his time with Chorey, Taylor & Feil, Dan has represented numerous importers, wholesalers, and retailers of beverage alcohol before the Georgia Department of Revenue and before various local jurisdictions.
