Michelle Kenyon is a Texas native who obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting (magna cum laude) from Texas Christian University in 1984. She practiced as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas from 1984 to 1989. She obtained her law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1992. Michelle has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1992.
Michelle combines the practice of law with previous experience as a CPA, to bring legal and financial experience to a range of clients. She specializes in helping companies navigate business and legal issues which occur throughout the life of a business. She frequently advises clients on issues of formation and all aspects of operations, including negotiation, preparation and review of employment and restrictive covenant agreements, confidentiality and trade secret agreements, buy-sell agreements, shareholder agreements, operating agreements, partnership agreements, lease agreements, promissory notes and related documents. Michelle also handles mergers and acquisitions, dissolutions, shareholder exits and succession planning. Michelle also assists clients with applications for statutory property tax exemptions. These exemptions are generally available for property that is used for educational, charitable and religious purposes.
